Located in North West Province of South Africa, Lichtenburg town was established during the 1880s. Apart from maize, the town’s main economic activity is cement production. Lichtenburg is home numerous cement plants with a significant footprint not only in North West Province but in South Africa as well.
Afrisam Dudfield factory, Lafarge Lichtenburg plant and Sephaku Cement are among the main cement plants in Lichtenburg. In addition, the PPC slurry is also found in Lichtenburg. Specialising in travelling exhibitions, MTE has built a reputation for more than 25 years organising and hosting exhibitions across South Africa and southern Africa in different industries.
The inclusion of the Lichtenburg exhibition illustrates how MTE is branching out into other industries, in addition to mining.
